A group of business leaders visited the Houses of Parliament and Aermec’s Andy Hawes, general manager technical services, was part of the group from the Essex Chamber of Commerce along with other local businesses.
Representatives from a cross section of businesses met up with Dame Priti Patel, MP for Witham and Lord Dominic Johnson, former Investment Minister and Conservative Party Chairman at a reception held at Westminster.
London and the south east are significant business hubs and Essex has a reputation for being a thriving county of entrepreneurs with many telecom, tech, manufacturing and logistics businesses.
The event was held to provide an opportunity for business leaders to discuss issues and challenges facing the Essex business community.
