Decarbonisation
As climate change is increasingly a concern, companies are looking to prioritise their efforts to reduce their business’s environmental impact.
Decarbonisation requires a focus on the removal of carbon emissions from an organisation’s value chain which can be achieved through the implementation of sustainable clean energy systems across the entire infrastructure. This can include resources such as water, air, fossil fuels and reductions in refrigerant usage.
The UK is aiming for net zero emissions by 2050 and the HVAC industry has a major part to play. Whether it is government regulations or initiatives driven from the private sector there will be deep impacts for the HVAC industry which impacts many markets and applications.
Aermec through its own volition is already engaged in helping customers to manage their energy strategies through the development of ever increasing energy efficient products; free cooling chillers and AHUs, hybrid systems, heat pumps, heat exchangers and moving towards lower GWP refrigerants, these can all make a substantial reduction in carbon emissions and utility bills.
By expanding our portfolio of product and providing our customers with choices, we can help them decarbonise.
Many of Aermec’s products already contribute to reduced environmental impact. For example, our Aersave smart compressor controller is a great example. It can improve the efficiency of chillers by as much as 50% as well as increase their longevity and boost ROI.
Aermec’s NPG muti-purpose air-to-water units can meet the needs of 2- and 4-pipe systems and domestic hot water production. The unit is designed so that its finned coil tubes have a reduced diameter and optimised cooling circuit components which reduces the amount of R32 refrigerant required and has a lower GWP which also contributes to environmental protection.
Aermec is delivering solutions that best meet our customers needs today and into the future.
