Aermec supports re-wilding initiative

As part of an ongoing commitment to minimising its environmental impact, Aermec is supporting an initiative to make the Caledonian National Forest in the Scottish Highlands a wilder place and promote biodiversity with tree planting in Glen Affric.

Lucy Hutchins, HSE&Q Manager

Aermec is a strong advocate and actively seeks opportunities to prioritise sustainability as Aermec’s Lucy Hutchins health, safety, environment & quality manager explained.

“Aermec was founded on the principles of sustainability and minimising its environmental impact. We are committed as a business to minimising our impact on the environment and ensure the companies we work with align with Aermec’s own values and corporate social responsibility goals.”

The tree planting is part of an enterprise that creates nature-rich environments through the re-wilding of woodlands in the Scottish Highlands, supporting wildlife and and helping to mitigate the effects of climate change.
