Aermec UK employees took part in an inaugural run on Sunday 24th May in memory of Verona’s renowned entrepreneur Giordano Riello, the visionary founder of Aermec. The event was created by Giordano Riello who was named after his grandfather – a widely respected and influential voice not only in Italy but throughout the global HVAC industry.
As well as employees, many businesses including Danfoss, Nplus and Agora Medical took part in a celebration of his life and the great contribution to innovation and the business world.
The route in the heart of the historical town of Legnago near Verona catered for all levels from a 10.2km competitive race, a 10.2km non-competitive race through to a 5.1km family run.
Funds raised from the event are being donated to various charities.
Well done to everyone who took part in such a meaningful event that honoured Giordano’s legacy!
