Cleaning Coils cut costs

Cleaning coils can reduce energy costs and boost efficiencies

Keeping your AHUs and chillers in tip top condition can save money but when budgets are tights, the maintenance schedule is often the first to be trimmed back, which is a false economy.

We all know that a good planned preventative maintenance can maximise efficiencies and generate costs savings, but how many are aware of the costs incurred thanks to dirty coils?

The dirtier the coils get the more the increase the compressor’s energy consumption whilst reducing the ability to transfer heat. Incorporating coil cleaning into the programme can generate further efficiencies and keep your chiller running for longer and may reduce the likelihood of premature failures and costly repair bills
