Aermec soccer player Wembley bound

Aermec’s Joe burgess will be among the players heading to Wembley to play in the finals for the coveted Wembley FA Vase this weekend!

Joe plays left back for Great Wakering Rovers Football Club which was formed in 1919.

The team has proved to be remarkably successful and dramatically overturned a one-goal deficit in the semi-finals and defeated Worcester City on penalties.

This will be the club’s first appearance at Wembley. This weekend’s game is the dream of a lifetime, playing at Wembley an iconic football venue and for the much-coveted Wembley FA Vase. This is reportedly one of the club’s biggest challenges in their 105-year history.
