Heat Pumps / Recovery
Heat recovery is a collective term in re-using the heat from various sources that would otherwise be lost. These processes may be inherent to the building, such as space heating, ventilation, or could be something carried out as part of business activity, such as the use of ovens, or furnaces. Heat recovery can help to reduce the overall energy consumption of the process itself, or provide useful heat for other purposes.
They can also be recovery of heat from air, water or the ground. There is an Aermec unit to suit most purposes turning heat/ cool or energy source into another format to recover the energy.
The addition of heat recovery means that some or all of the heat contained within the extract air from an Air Handling unit, chiller exhaust, or water system can be recovered. The heat energy is passed into the incoming fresh air effectively pre-heating it, pre-heating a water system or directly to underfloor heating.
